Move through the prep steps in this order.

  • Pick the role that actually fits: Do not apply for everything. Read the role guide that matches your experience and aim for the role you can support with proof.
  • Prepare evidence before you type: Have your timezone, availability, moderation or build examples, and any portfolio links ready before you open the form.
  • Answer with specifics: Use examples, timeframes, and decisions you made. Weak applications stay generic, vague, and inflated.
  • Submit on the main site: Submit your application on astroworldmc.com/apply. Use the role guides above to prepare strong evidence before you open the form.

THE FORM

The application form, field by field

Whatever the role, the form starts with the same seven required fields, and a progress bar at the top shows how far along you are.

Field 1

Role

One of Moderator, Helper, Builder, Developer or Media / Creator. The proof questions only appear once you pick a role, and each application covers a single role.

Field 2

Minecraft name

Your in-game name as it shows on the server. The form's own example is AstroworldPlayer.

Field 3

Email

An address you actually read. After you send the form, the confirmation says you will hear back in your email or on Discord.

Field 4

Discord

Your Discord username. The placeholder shows both a plain name and the older name#0001 style, and having a Discord account is one of the eight requirements.

Field 5

Age

A number. Applicants need to be 13 or older, and being honest about your age is a requirement of its own.

Field 6

Timezone

Short codes are fine: CET and EST are the examples on the form. Together with your availability it tells the team when you are around.

Field 7

Availability

Four choices: less than 5 hours a week, 5 to 10, 10 to 20, or more than 20. Choose the range you can keep in an ordinary week, not your best one.

PER ROLE

The proof questions for each role

Picking a role adds its own questions, and every role starts with why you want it, in up to 600 characters.

Helper Applications
Why you want the role, how you would handle a rule breaker with no senior staff online, and past moderation experience if you have any.
Moderator Applications
The same three questions as Helper: your motivation, the rule-breaker scenario, and past moderation experience if you have any.
Builder Applications
Why you want the role, links to builds you made, and the building tools you use if you want to name them.
Developer Applications
Why you want the role, code samples, your languages and frameworks, and the plugins you built. All four are required.
Media / Creator Applications
Why you want the role, links to your channels or portfolio, and the kind of content you make if you want to say.

The last step is two confirmations: that the application is your own work, and that you know lying about your experience or identity means instant rejection.

After

What happens next

A confirmation says the team reads every word and that you will hear back in your email or on Discord. No response time is published.
